Best Benchmade ever

My head says "710" everytime I use it but my hand and pocket usually vote for the "735".

I can't even agree with myself.

Well I have only owned 2 a 710 and an AFCK 800 round hole with the bali-song cloisones on either sidie of the grips I just picked up used. Has the round hole and ATS34. Unbelieavable price to boot. Without a doubt the smoothest operating knife I have ever owned. That includes my SERE 2000 too. I just need to maybe get some new bushings for it as the adjustment screw is just about bottomed out. The lock up is outstanding too. As good as my SERE. The blade has a few beauty marks on it but the handles and the rest are in perfect shape. Sharp as a razor now too. I don't think it may be an edc as it is kind of large for work but it will definetly take the place of my CS xlg when I am carrying my CCO. Keep'em sharp

The 940 - but.........

It need a round hole rather than those damn ambi thumbstuds.

The 970 and 975 emerson designs, and the 940 is one
the slickest designs to date for Benchmade.

The Pinnacle is the best (IMO) knife that I own... so far.;)

I'm suprised that some people think the Griptillian is the BEST. I don't own one but I've handled one and that it was "economy class." Maybe I would need to spend some quality time with one. I thought my Pinnacle was "too bulky" at first. Now it's just right.

My vote goes to the 720 Pardue. It has the axis lock as does the 710 but its 3.25" blade is of more convenient size for carry and general use than the 710's 4" blade. The 720's handle geometry is in my opinion one of the BEST for knife retention and hand protection from the blade.

Generally though I find my 350 to be best for general use as when I just want a really light folder and I grab it(which happens often), it's the only knife I have!

I have and carry at all times, 3 710's (710S, 710BTS, 710HSSR). So I guess I'd vote for the 710. But I just gotta try their new AFCK axis lock......
