Best Benchmade Knife for edc.

I must say I am impressed with the HG Griptillians. The edge holding was quite good in my cardboard cutting tests, and the blade cuts (cardboard) with less effort than my Generation 4 Delica from Spyderco. Also very smooth and fills the hand well. The opening hole could be a little bigger, but with an Axis lock folder, its not really needed.

Although it was just retired in favor of my new Paramilitary, the 710 gave me three and a half years good use, so it gets my recommendation.

The old with the new.

You will not be disappointed with a 710... one of the best knives I've ever touched.

Hey, why hasn't anyone mention the 710? :D:D Thats what I carry, would love to try one of the 940 series too.

Osborne 940::thumbup:
Effortless deployment and AXIS lock!
3.4 inches of S30V!
weight if 2.9 OZ!
Slender profile!
solid metal construction and tectured aluminum handles!
Much much more!

Those who know Benchmade know the 930 Kulgera.
Quality, style and function.
Take it from me.

Mini Rukus! Well, it's not the best but would be if Benchmade made a better pocket clip. Aside from the clip, it's a great knife and is a perfect size for most, if not all, EDC tasks.

I like the 710 but it is too huge for EDC imo. The 940 is perfect for the EDC role however.

I've carried most of what's been listed so far as well as quite a few others. While I seem to be a fixed blade guy these days, I carry a Dozier K-20, when I want a folder, the Benchmade HK 14210 is absolutely my go to knife. It's a switch blade in manual clothing! Great grip, good balance, and a stout blade with a slight recurve to help it cut like, well, a knife! Fit and finish are superb. The only downside was that it arrived like almost everyone of my Benchmades - DULL.

I highly recommend this knife, or it's BIGger bro the HK14205. Be aware though, with the 14205 in you pocket you wife will asking "Honey, is that a sword in you pocket...?"

For me the perfect edc is Benchmad 551 NRA mini Griptilian.
It´s light...
It´s got supersteel (s30v)...
It´s got a secure Axis lock...
It´s a combo edge...
It´s not to tactical...
It´s not THAT expensive...
I can´t figure out what else I would need in a pocket friendly edc.

Griptilian all the way. Woooo Hoooo, I am a fan boy! It is 154 cm and for 80 plus tax, I think it is great. Blade open blade closed, easy deploy, easy close. I am not finding other handles of BM to my liking, at least not enough to buy more BM's.

While I like my Mini-Grip, I more frequently carry a Monochrome. It is thinner in the pocket, and I find I prefer the frame lock to the axis lock. Personal preference, YMMV.

Obviously, it's a personal choice, but for me it's AFCK M4 -- Spyderhole, axis lock, incredible steel, incredible ergos.
