Best Benchmade Knife for edc.

Just received the LE Benchmade 710 with M390 -- still carrying the BM 940 w 154CM. IMO it's near perfect . . . for urban carry.

I'm going to try to try a Benchmade knife for the first time .The 530 REI has features I'm interested in - straight handle [not very common] ,top of the line steel S30V, AXIS, light weight. The only Benchmade I have now is one of their seatbelt cutters ! Never used it and hope I never need it !

Did you order a while back for the silver blade, or just pick up the black blade thats still in stock. Im dying to get my hands on a normal silver blade one.

I have a 940 a Mini Griptillian with wilkins grips and a 755 MPR. All 3 I EDC. The AXIS lock is great but the 755 Frame-lock is incredibly strong too and the M390 Steel helps too.

Large Grips - yawn.

I still like the 710... love the 630... but - the 755 MPR from this year has muscled it's way into the #1 spot for my EDC. The 790 Subrosa is also a contender, my main object to it being it's assisted opening.

Excuse the ZT-301 and Boker Haddock - decent carries that they are, the 755 is just too useful.

I'd have to go with one of the mini-grip models -- they've been my most frequent edc for years. I like the design, the size, the weight . . . and the price. Or there other Benchmade models that appeal to me? Sure. Some even appeal to me more than the mini grip, but I wind up losing one or two of my edc's a year. I never am happy about losing a knife, but a $60.00 one is a lot easier to replace that a $200.00 knife.
