Best Benchmade Knife for edc.

The problem is too many Benchmades to choose from. All good choices here.
What does the OP do with his knives on a daily basis?

Then you shall find the true answer......Grasshopper.;)

My favorite EDC Benchmade is a discontinued Elishewitz 885 Mini-Darkstar....

G-10, titanium liners (anodized gold), and a very nice dagger-style blade. :)

558 Ritter mini-grip or 707 Sequel

I will also suggest the 558 Ritter mini-grip. I did a "emerson wave" mod to mine and really love the combination of the 558 blade, CPM S30V steel and the axis lock.

My 558 is the 2nd from the top.
The rest of the knives are as follows from top to bottom:
BM HK 14210, BM 558 "waved", Spyderco Caly3 G-10, Spyderco Delica 4 waved

I second the idea of the 940 Osborn. Look up the nutinfancy video on youtube for the knife. It's fantastic.

This thread is dead, but:

930 Kulgera.

Lightning fast action
Slim design that you won't feel in your pocket
Elegant
Sweet G10 grip

I've EDC my Kulgera 930S for more than 6 months, and even after getting a Mini Rukus, something just doesn't feel right without the Kulgera...

My vote is a 551 Griptilian...serrated is my personal choice but the plain blade is great too. REALLY SHARP..retains an edge well. It is also extremely light which most of the other knives mentioned seem to be a bit on the heavy side. I've carried heavy edc knives and it is one of the biggest complaints I've had. The size and weight of this almost makes you forget you are carrying it. The axis lock is my favorite and has a rock-solid lock up. Also one of benchmade's more reasonably priced knives.

Man tough choices how about them all.....I just bought a Benchmade Osborne Mini Barrage 585....seems very nice...

Easy question. The 943 with a Titanium or Carbon fiber handle. They tip the scales at 91gm. and 71gm. respectively. The Aluminum job is 81gm.

Mini griptilian is by far the best EDC benchmade offers imo. My girlfriend bought me one last year, price/quality/utility is all aligned.

You do realize that this thread is over a year old and was resurrected for a couple of posts over 2 months ago only to die again?

Well since it's back at the top, I'll chime in real quick. Personally, I love carrying my 960. It's slick, classy, and I find it to be a good size for me. Mine's red, but I've been thinking about picking up a backup one. They have silver too, plus a lot of different colored models, but those are all Harley Davidson branded.

You can ignore the 51 in there. Although, I do think they go well together, with the red/black and blue/black!
