Best EDC for under $100

Out of current production my top choices will be Spyderco Native5 or Caly3.5. Both are a hair over $100.
Under $100 I would consider Spyderco Centofante3 and Native. Both of them can be found around $60 shipped.

First timer chiming in, I figured as much time as I've been spending here the past few weeks I might as well join, too. I wanted a solid folding knife for EDC and had same $100 budget. After many days and countless hours of reading and watching YT vids I decided upon a Paramilitary 2 late Thursday night. I chose the PM2 for several reasons, made in the USA, price, size, and the Spyderco reputation, especially this particular model. Finding one was about as tough as choosing, every online knife shop I searched was sold out. Crud. So I gave Amazon a shot and low and behold they had some in stock. I must have gotten one of the last of these Thursday night, when I checked on Friday morning all that showed up was the Paramilitary, not the PM2. Hmmm, this put me in a panic, did I order the right knife? So I checked the order confirmation email from Amazon, wheew, it read Spyderco ParaMilitary2 Black G-10 PlainEdge Knife. Sigh of relief. I went a little over budget but not by much. Good luck in your quest.

spyderco, millie, para millie 2, or manix 2 for sure, you can find the para 2 and manix 2 xl for under 100 if you know where to look. Problem with questions like tese is 1,000 different people gonna have 1,000 different answers but the para 2 is possibly the greatest knife ever made cept for the gayle bradley, and if anyone knows where to find one for 100 buck or less please pm me.

EDC Every Day Carry. Sounds to me like it should be...

I agree with othes. Delica or PM2 for a first knife are outstanding. One option I think is great and hasn't been mentioned yet, the Kershaw Knockout is a great value IMO.

I've been looking for PM2's for about two months now, and I keep hearing over and over you should be able to find one for under a $100, but I have not seen ONE for less than 125 that isn't sold out until march or so. any tips would be nice. :)

How about a Buck? I've got my sights on a Vantage Pro in S30V. It's probably on the low end of your budget if that matters one way or the other. Otherwise, depending on other needs (size, weight, fixed blade/folder, etc.) I'm sure they have something for you.

Enjoy your search - it's part of the fun.

Everyday it comes down to the Spyderco Delica or Endura versus the Benchmade Mini-Griptillion or Griptillion. I almost always chose the mini-grip. I have a Para-military on pre-order, but it cost substantially more than $100. Maybe I will change my mind it that knife ever shows up.

I used to switch knives a lot, I couldn't find one that worked for me and fit the way I wanted. Then I found the Benchmade Griptilian. I have carried this knife everyday for 4 years now and LOVE it. It's 154 cm steel and holds a wicked edge for the money I don't think there is any better. But I do have delica's and an Endura both VG- and they are very good too

I've beat the living hell out of my 555 Grip over the last year or so. It always comes back for more. It was used when I got it too. I've had zero issues with it. Great knife. For a fixed blade EDC the BK11, BK14, Izula, or the Izula2 are great options. A lot of bang for the buck.

Spyderco Stretch, BM mini grip

Slightly higher than a hundred, ive edc'd a Native 5 and its painfully underated as it can possibly be the perfect edc along with the Stretch.

Having recently been in your position and asking the very same question, I would suggest looking for a deal on a ZT350. I picked up a Spyderco Endura as a first knife and liked it alot, but then I held a Zero Tolerance and had to have one (and now I have two).

I have lost the last 5 auctions on a satin and digicam PM2, so I just decided to get a Spyderco Delica 4 orange handle. If I can't have the one I want, this one will hopefully tide me over until I can afford to pay full price on a PM2. I am actually very excited, I have never held one, but it looks awesome!

did I do good boss? :)

I scored a very lightly used one for $85 shipped in the exchange, can't beat it for that price!

Personally, I'd probably go for a Benchmade Sequel. Yes, you can find it for under $100 with a little work (or you can PM me). There is also the Benchmade small Bone Collector with different types of handle materials.

I picked up at Kershaw Blur with carbon fiber inlays and CPM154 steel a couple of weeks ago here on the exchange. It's a heckofalota knife for around $100. Got it with me today in fact.

I have owned AND carried a Kershaw Zing since I got it two years ago. For the price, it's one of the best knives I have ever bought. I like to buy American, but do own and use things from other companies that produce foreign (Gerber BG, Camillus Carnivore, etc etc.). If I'm spending more than 40 bucks, I buy American, just my rule of thumb. Other knives I'd go for for under 100 would be: Kershaw Skyline, Kershaw Knockout, Gerber Gator 3.75" Drop Point, or even the Cold Steel Mini Recon 1 Spear Point. The list could go on and on of good knives for under 100. I'd recommend the Kershaw Zing though, it's an awesome knife for the price. I buy most of my knives through knifecenter online.

Get the kershaw LTD edition Blur. It has everything good the Blur has, but with CPM-154 steel
