Best EDC Knives?

Sorry for terrible picture.

Easy to open, easy to carry, sharpens fairly easily, and blade stays sharp.

Thanks for the advice im looking for a folder that is sturdy and durable i forgot im on a knife forum your definition of rough and mine are a bit different haha considering im used to shitty knives with weak blades just looking for a good folder what is the folding knife you have in that picture?

Just picked the Kershaw Cryo a couple of days ago. So far I think it's gonna be my new favorite edc. Lightweight, frame lock, and good blade steel. If you're looking for a solid edc knife that won't break the bank you can't go wrong.

Trying to find a knife under $80 if possible i really want a half serrated tanto blade also im not a fan or spyderco i just dont like the look of theirnknives to be honest haha

Half serrated tanto I'd definitely go with the kershaw blur. I have two one serrated and one not. Neither are tanto but they are excellent knives. I'm pretty sure it will satisfy you're price point too.

I really don't think there is such a thing as the "best edc knife"... You ask a question like this and you're bound to get a thousand different answers.

Use a lot of knives and you'll eventually find yourself going back and carrying ones over and over... Those are your EDC blades.

One of my personal favorite blades to EDC is the Kershaw Skyline. It's pocketable, holds a razor edge, and flicks open very quickly. It's great for cutting string, rope, or paracord. You could also do some food prep with it if you were in a pinch.

Just buy a knife if yo don't like it buy another and repeat you will never find the perfect knife and if you are like a lot of guys you will end up with a drawer filled with kick ass pocket knives

Probably something you have thought about, but just keep in mind the knife laws in your area when considering your EDC. For a relatively cheap knife with a good reputation I would agree with DavidZ and say Opinel.

I love my Spyderco Manix2 light weight, good steel, light (hints the name:thumbup:), strong lock, and relatively cheep depending on where you buy it. Picked mine up at my local shop for around $70, great value, hope this helps!!! Good luck!!

In my collection, there're many fancy and custom knives. Sometime I carry one just to show off with my friends (I don't even cut anything with these knives). However, for EDC, for using, I always carry an Emerson knife (SOCFK, mini CQC 15, mini roadhouse). In town, I just carry mini versions, but when out of town, a full size Emerson knife is always my choice. Honestly, I'm usually very lazy to open a knife after drawing it from my pocket. So Emerson knives can help me with this. These knives just open right away after I draw from the pocket :)
