Best EDC Spydie?

I really like the design of the Chokwe  But I wish that they would do a Sprint run of those in some other steel other than S30V. That knife would be hell on wheels if it had S90V, D-2 or even VG-10 for that matter. So I'm gonna hold out hoping for it to be made available in another blade steel. The Chokwe is styled so ergonomically that it should be made available in at least 3 other blade steels and it should also be made available in Spyderedge as well. It's a really great design

Although the s30v holds up fine and i have no problem with it i have to agree with you on this. a chokwe with m390 would be pure bliss. It might get a bit more attention too which it needs.

Since I got my waved Endura a year ago, it's literally never left my right rear pocket. I'll occasionally carry another folder IWB or in my left hip pocket, but nothing has replaced the Endura.

If Spyderco released a G10 scaled waved Endura, with a swedged tip like on the police, I would pick one up in a heartbeat.

Caly 3.5 seems like it would fit your requirements. G10 vs. frn, slim vs fat, good vs mediocre blade steel. If your looking for an upgrade and don't mind a tiny reduction in size the caly 3 or the Delica in G10 (hard to find though). The caly 3 is in carbon fibre and has ZDP steel which is awesome.

My Native or my manix 2....more so the native cause of the nice size but I edc the manix quite a bit despite the heft....I like the way it feels in my pocket

Native Or Native 5 Are Excellent Choices...

But I Say SAGE 2!
Lol. The Lock Up Is Rock Solid, No Play, Perfect Centering, And It's Titanium(My New Addiction).
And Plus It's A Frame Lock. *Drool*
You Could Get A Bradley Alias 1 Or 2.

If You Want To Be Really Cool With Your $300...

Since You Like The Classy Carbon Fiber, But Not The Liner Lock.. And You Like The Titanium Frame Lock...
Buy A Spyderco Sage 2... And A Spyderco Sage 1.
Take The Front CF Scale Off Of The Sage And The Front Ti Scale Off Of The Sage2, And Switch Them!!!

Then You Have A Carbon Fiber Titanium Frame Lock!!! And You Have A Cool Ti And CF Liner Lock! - Which You Can Sell And Recoup The Money You Spent On That Sage 1.

=] I Think That Is Your Best Option!!!!!

Native 5.

Frog approved.

Since You Can't Decide Between The Sage 1 And Sage 2... I Say Do This. And You Can Sell The Ti/CF Liner Lock For At LEAST What You Payed For The Sage1, And That Recoups The Extra Money Spent, And You Have A Great Textured CF/Titanium Frame Lock! You Can't Beat It. If The Sage 3 Were Similar In Locking Mechanism I Would Say Get A Sage 3 And Do Blue G-10/Ti. But Sadly It Just Wouldn't Work!! =[

So I Would Do The CF/Ti. You Can't Get Much More Classy, Sexy, And Just Damn Awesome Than CF And Ti!

.. Oh And It's Sheeple Friendly!

I carry my ukpk more than any of my locking blades, it's just so light and deep carrying, and the old foliage green is a big plus for me, especially with the ffg cpms30v. But, you want a locking knife, Sage 2 is next on my list, also check out the leafstorm, doesn't have the wire clip, but it's a nice blade. If you want something bigger and don't mind the price, the lionspy looks nice, but I have yet to handle one.. might be a bit bulky for edc.. -hayes

Both Sage 1 and Sage 2 are my favorite Spydercos. BTW, I just happen to be selling a NIB Sage 1. Check out my sig.
