Best Fighter?

Wow some very nice knives in this thread (Granite and James) !!!! What kind of wood are your scales made out of James?

Figured redwood. Not the most durable wood on the planet, but it does look nice.

James, that double edged 5 is somethin' else. That would be beautiful as a reverse grip knife.

It's only fully/properly sharpened to about 3" back from the tip. It works, though... for everything but batonning. It's not very good at all for batonning ;)

I'd imagine it's hilarious for batoning...not like that spine profile is easy on batons anyway.
That thing must give a nasty backcut-it's bad enough just ripping with the single edged version.

I'd definitely say the 5, and I have one so even better! But if Ethan were willing to go to the fight with his 870, I could just stay home and still win!

...and stabbiest

Haha magnificent technical term there Needle!

I'd take around 40 or so Bk11's attached all over my body and ninja them at the other guy like a ninja then squeal like a girl scout and do the boost when all of them missed or landed handle first.. My wife would then step in and glare at him like she glares at me then later numbnuts! Cut to ribbons by Lazers!

What was it someone said in another thread. Something like:

So, you're saying it splits wood AND makes feather sticks at the same time?!:D

Exactly :D And yeah, I'm a big fan of the back-cut in its various forms... that's the main reason I modded that particular model.

BK5. It's a suped up butcher knife. Butcher knives are designed to cut flesh. People are made out of flesh.

Plus the BK-5 is the only Becker to be tempered in unicorn blood and fondled inappropriately by elves.

I'd take my 9. I'm a big fan of standing back out of the other guy's stabbing range, and just chopping off his hands when he tries to stab me.

Haha that's gold, I can imagine you stickin your bum back every time your opponent lunges at you then you taking a counter strike. Sorry it's 1am here in Oz, I'm tired.

Not to get all Prac Tac about it, but... Yeah, that's pretty much how it works. No sense standing still or rushing at a dude and letting him stab you. ("Run towards a gun, run away from a knife" is one SD cliche that's actually kind of true in tight situations). You open up a bad guy's hand or wrist to the bone, he's not gonna try to hit, cut or stab you with it again. ;)
