I have quite a few that meet your criteria. All of the below are under 3" with the exception of the Long Dog Forge knife near the top left (the one with the weiner dog logo):

Love your collection there! I have a lot of similar knives by the same makers you've got pictured like: Gallardo, Childress, Wilder, DCL, Charles, etc...looks like we shop at the same places - great taste sir!

My current favorite is this beauty custom made for me by Mika, a great maker/young man from Croatia.

That's beautiful! What kind of wood is that?

Oh, thanks man. I asked him to use a wood with a lot of movement, and he chose to use this maple burl that he had. He finished it with a bunch of thin coats of Truoil, so it really pops. Steel is the Euro version of CPM154...RWL-34. 2.5mm stock, about 7.7"OAL W/3.5" blade...I just love it.

I personally would never carry a 3 inch fixed blade. If it's 4 inches and over, I'll carry a fixed blade. If it's under that then I'll go with a folder. But I guess I'd go with the esee izula

I also live in Canada and live on a farm so that's my reason for caring but some cops can be dicks so I try to keep it small.

Well if you're in Canada get a Grohmann #3 and get the overlap sheath so you don't loose it.

That's pretty hassle proof.

I'm a big fan of Drew's knives (DCL) - he puts a real nice piece together, that's very reasonably priced. They are comfortable in-hand and mean little cutters. I also really like the work of Davorin Sajnovic (a Croatian maker) a.k.a g-knives/gorky knives. The knives I have are a bit larger than what you might be wanting, but he does make smaller stuff as well. Both makers are extremely nice and great to work with.

I have a gerber basic laying around here somewhere. Not great steel but small and concealable

At a blade length of exactly 3", My Fehrman Thru Hiker is absolutely perfect. 3v at it's best and the ergonomics and comfort along with the finger choil and jimping couldn't possibly be improved upon.

I've owned SK!, BK&T, Esee, Winkler and more but ended up keeping this one as my dedicated fixed blade. It's slim profile and kydex sheath is easily concealable and comfortable inside the front of my jeans.

I've pierced holes through old junk cars, batoned heavily on wood, pryed metal cabinets and smashed all sorts of hard stuff with this and doesn't phase it one bit.

Guardian 3, BRKT Bravo Necker 2, Esee Izula; these are what I use. There is a ton of customs out their as well. Spyderco G-clip is wonderful for all types of concealed fixed blades.

I agree about the G-clip, it's all I use on all of my kydex sheaths.

Bradford Guardian 3 and EK&T Companion are most recent discoveries and my most carried fixed blades. Here's a pic of the Companion, since it's on me today.

Those look so nice, is yours wearing carbon fiber or G-10?

Grinchsmile made this one, 2-1/2", Kirinite, O1 steel, kydex.

Full handle to me.

Best fixed blade is one that you made.

You could label them and create quite a comprehensive list of usable blade shapes for small FB's. Lovely collection.
I especially like the micro chef knife thing on bottom left.
