Best fixed blade EDC!

I'm sure this has been done before but what everyone's favorite fixed blade edc.. Rules are blade under 3" and be able to conceal carry on waist.. Sorry for any typos using my phone!

While there are certainly better blades, nicer blades, sturdier blades, fancier blades, and on and on and on

My #1 most common go2 fixed blade to edc is still the 4" Mora Companion, because on a normal day 2 day, 99% of the time it will handle 99% of anything I come across...

Easily concealable on the waist, into the pocket of some relaxed fit Dickies jeans...
(Along with my sak huntsman AND Kershaw Blur, my must common go-to edc trio, all comfortably in one pocket).

You could label them and create quite a comprehensive list of usable blade shapes for small FB's. Lovely collection.
I especially like the micro chef knife thing on bottom left.[/QUOTE]

I agree - isn't this a great collection?! I thought I was a little out of control with my EDC fixed collection/obsession...I now see I'm not alone in this world.

I have quite a few that meet your criteria. All of the below are under 3" with the exception of the Long Dog Forge knife near the top left (the one with the weiner dog logo):

Son of a b%!@#, just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in...

I gotsta know.

What is the 5th one down on the left (on the green handled knife side), that fat bellied little harlot with the brown handle?

She jumped right out at me.

Dah-uhm.

That right there is a custom by Bill Herndon, in 80CRV2 with green canvas micarta scales.

Here's more info about him, including his email (he doesn't have a website or anything): http://www.calknives.org/member-biographies/234-2/

If you're interested in one like mine, Plaza Cutlery has three in stock in various handle materials. They haven't put pictures up on their website yet but I just called to confirm that they do indeed have them (and they take phone orders). Here's their website: http://www.plazacutlery.com/home.aspx
