Best folding knife for 450-700$!

I came here just to say Sebenza or Arno Bernard. Really give a good look at AB. Kinda a sweet spot size wise from the Sebenza/Inkosi.
Yeah, I have to pile on this advice. If you liked your small Sebenza but felt it was too small, the Arno Bernard Imamba is like a “medium” Sebenza with a flipper tab and a little more refined finish.

This is coming from a guy who owns and loves several different CRK knives, so I’m definitely a CRK fanboy.

Def 10 brands that fit your criteria, most stated here already. I am a fan of my CRK sm Inkosi tanto. Would also like a sm seb31 in tanto too.

Yea I’m really leaning toward the large Inkosi tanto, unless I see a Koenig arius for a good price!

I do like the imamba but I want something larger than that! Do they have a xl imamba?

The Inkosi and XM-18 are my favorites. But the McNees PM Mac2 3.5 is pretty good, too.

CRKs are nice. But on the small side and thumbstud only. If you like flippers better, or need something larger or fatter, get a Hinderer and max it out.

Or a nice Cheburkov:

*Puts on my Norse mythology nerd hat* Loving that Vidar tooling in there. I have never seen anything like that. Is it custom or is that model of some sort.

Just for fun I went into Arizona custom knives and entered what is available for $500-$700. There are some really great knives available including some excellent customs which are in that price bracket.

As you get closer to $1K the choice expands exponentially. I would look at all the well known dealer site's to check out preowned prices. If you are going to the price point you indicate I would definitely look at a full custom.

Here is an example of what $850 will buy.......

This is a custom knife from one of the O.G. makers of tacticals. (Mods I hope it's ok to post the link to this)

Here is one for sale on the forum now........

I really like that Allen Elishwitz custom!

There are a lot of excellent knives in this price range. Many have already been mentioned. I own many but not all of them.

One that hasn't been mentioned yet is Olamic which IMO should be included in any search for knives in this price range.

This is a pic of the 3 Olamics that I own:

Only knife I'd buy in that price range is Chris Reeve, but ZT has some good options too and while I've never handled one, I hear great things about Hinderer.

Oh, actually these exact three models were mentioned in post #31. :)

Here's the funny part though. You and I must have mind meshed in our pursuit of the Olamics. Sorry, don't have a consolidated pic, but similar to say the least. 🤣
