Best Knife Fight Scene Ever!

If you wanna talk about REAL knife fight, you should make a new thread.

Dear me, did I violate Bladeforums protocol. I'm sure this is the first time in the 9+ years I've been a member here that anyone has gone slightly off-topic in a thread. A thousand pardons.

Now I've seen several sword fighting scenes mentioned in this thread despite the title being "Best Knife Fight Scene Ever!" but frankly, I couldn't care less. I don't think there's anything on this forum worth getting ones shorts in a knot.

And just a helpful suggestion, if you want to tell people what to do around here, apply to become a moderator. Otherwise, your instructions will be ignored.

Have a nice day. :)

START AT 9:30... Nothing beats this. Knife & Tomahawk fighting at its finest.

As if this could get any better, the illustrious Daniel Winkler made the cutlery for this movie if i'm not mistaken.

Oh yes. From Dan's website:

I had the honor of producing knives and axes for use by principal actors in the epic motion picture LAST OF THE MOHICANS. The two large belt knives, as well as the axe, are copies of the designs I made in collaboration with director Michael Mann. The knife on the left is a replica of the one carried by actor Daniel Daye-Lewis in his portrayal of "Hawkeye" (see inset).

WHAT? No one even mentioned Lou Diamond Phillips and Christian Slater going at it in Young Guns II? LDP even sacrifices his forearm to disarm his opponent!

Did we do the Long Kiss Goodnight with Gena Davis?

Not sure if its been said but hands down Eastern Promises. Vigo Morganson(?) gets robbed in a Russian bath house by two goons and ensues is the toughest most realistic fight scene of any movie I've watched.

Last of the Mohicans is the most realistic I've seen, also my favorite movie. The music is amazing.

Raiders of the Lost Ark. No, not when Marian hits the guy with the big knife with the frying pan, but when Indy shoots the guy with the sword.

Seriously, Last of the Mohicans was not only a great movie, but a well choreographed movie too.
