Best Knife for carrying in a suit pocket

I just bought Benchmade 530. That thing is light weight and thin. I think it should be ok to wear for suits. If you think 530 feel too light, 531 is a great choice adding a bit of weight.

I wear suits regularly, just not everyday and I carry what I carry not wearing a suit. I just have the knife in my right front pants pocket with the clip showing.

I carried a Sage 1, and recently switched to a Benchmade 940, in my right front trouser pocket for suit wear. I'm an office though, where there's no weapons policy and people really don't care, so I'm not concerned about the pocket clip. Neither have torn up my slacks. The 940 is slimmer and rides better in the pocket is suit pants and light summer khakis. The Sage, though, seems better suited to mid-weight khakis, for business casual.

If you need to put something in your suitcoat pocket, a small Victorinox SAK, such as the Cadet, or a little traditional folder, like a Buck Prince or a GEC 83 might be nice. Maybe a Benchmade Valet or Emissary, if you carry in the inside breast pocket.

EDIT: What the...?!? I really need to look at the start date on these threads. The OP's probably retired by now.

Consider carrying IWB. Lots of good flat folders around: Sebbie, Cold Steel has a variety, Spyderco, Benchmade. Tucked under your belt behind your hip, no one will notice. Dozier has some superb (and pricey) small FBs that are easily camouflaged beneath a suitcoat, though they're not in your price range:(.
