Not only has it never let me down, it has also taken a hit or two. You'll see in one of the photos below that the handle has an end chipped off, from when I dropped it on the cobblestones on an icy day in Zakopane, Poland.
Speaking of Poland, that is where this particular specimen came from. My wife got it for me as a birthday present when we were courting. I said I wanted black handles, so she searched all over Krakow; no one had them on the knife, but finally, she found a place that would sell them separately. So this one is over 8 years old now, and has probably been carried more than all my other knives put together.
I'm never missing a tool, and it is just on the large side of comfortable pocket carry:
