I just got a job with IBM! Suffice to say that I expect my personal finances to look a little brighter. I've only recently discovered the joy of knives, much to the dismay of my girlfriend, so now I want a good looking knife! I already have "functional" taken care of with the F1 and Recon Scout.

Anywho, I'm looking for a beautiful fixed blade. Under $300 preferably. So far I have my eye on the BRKT Bravo 1 with maroon micarta scales.

I don't really like tactical looking knives but I can be persuaded. Also, I've seen some nice folders but they all tend to have ridiculous price tags but that doesn't mean I'm against folders in general. Since this is about aesthetics, let's see some pictures!

Kanetsune makes pretty snazzy knives...

How about a vintage Remington knife that come up on ebay? Waay under $300.00 Some times these Delrin handles can look really handsome.

For $300 you can get a custom that is 'beautiful" and "functional". There are several makers on BF who do great work at fair prices!

You could get a custom easily, my favorite maker is Charles May. Also, check out the Fallkniven Northern Lights series, and anything by BRKT. The Bravo 1, by the way, is beautiful, yes, but it is also just as functional as the Recon Scout and F1.

How about this for a looker? It's a B.Goode custom though. And it's mine all mine.:D

you say you already have a Recon Scout, right? do you like it? if so, what about a Recon Scout in San Mai III. to me, that is one of the sexiest knives there is. apx $200

+1 on a custom from one of the knifemakers here. My recommendation would be try and find something by Bailey Knives, he makes some great looking stuff and often sells here. They go fast though.
