Best lube for the Sebenza?

CRK grease with a SINGLE DROP of 85w Nano Oil on each washer. Assemble the knife, open and close the blade a few times, and you're golden. The oil helps prevent the grease from drying out and provides for amazing lubrication without being runny.

Not only does this make my Sebenzas smoother than ever - it lasts an insanely long time. My daily driver Large 21 hasn't been cleaned / lubed in months, and it still glides open like butter.

I'm going to try this when I take my small Inkosi down tomorrow!
Do you use the same grease/drop blend on the pivot as well, or just the oil?

This is a fun subject, I love reading your opinions! I did a little research into fluorinated greases when I got my first CRK in an effort to ascertain what CRK was going for when they chose their stuff. It's a cool substance, that's for sure.
I've been using Krytox GPL on my knives since. I've experimented with a few flavours, GPL 201 and 204. I initially bought the 204 for its temperature range (using skin temp as the median). I found the knife was a bit more resistant to opening than I preferred so opted for a lower viscosity variant, being the 201. It works beautifully, no complaints after a year of use.
Edit:
Price-point: I paid $42 for a 2 oz. tube. I use it liberally and still have 3/4 left after a year. I find this reasonable.

The lube that comes with the CRKs reminds me a lot of the TW-25B grease that Sig used to ship with their pistols. Anybody know if it's the same or even close?

I haven't taken my Inkozi apart yet, and I've only taken my 25 apart once in two years. At this rate, the lube that came with them will last me a really long time. When the CRK grease is gone, I have plenty of gun greases & oils to take it's place.

It's Christo lube. One of two formulas I forgot which one. There are also other brands that also have the same type under different names. It uses a carrier fluid that evaporates when applied.

Don't think that's accurate. Maybe it's accurate for Christo, but it's not accurate for Tribolube (similar) or Krytox.

I use Krytox GPL 201 which appears identical to the CRK stuff. I did put some GPL 206 into a Large Inkosi to stiffen up the action. Can't be too careful in the city.

There are many different formulations of grease. Crk uses mcg111 or mcg129 or mcg111-20 iirc. No one knows exactly which one.

But you usually see a little fluid leak out of the tube, if you don't mush up the tube before opening to mix it. This fluid is a carrier fluid that evaporates when applied. Then it just leaves basically ptfe.

I have been using CRK lube when disassembling the knife and cleaning. In between I use a drop of 10wt Nano Oil if it the action starts to feel a little funky.

I don't know about the sebenza, but I lube my umnumzaan about once or twice a year with a little bottle of red stuff marked mmc. Never taken it apart.
