Best online knife store?

I've never had business with Arizona Custom Knives, but they sure have a lot of eye candy...Amazon or Blade HQ for more basic knives

I have experience with GPKnives, KnifeCenter, KnifeWorks, USAmadeblades, and warriorsandwonders. They are all paying members of this forum and all of them have outstanding service and very quick shipping times. For Canadians I recommend warriorsandwonders, its located in BC so you can avoid customs issues but you will have to pay tax. For Americans I highly recommend GPKnives as they have had the best pricing overall and incredibly fast shipping. I have heard the same about BladeHQ but I haven't bought anything from them yet as Its a bit more of a pain for them to ship international. Whitty from USAmadeblades is an excellent and active member here on the forums so I highly recommend supporting his shop, he has a wonderful selection so far and I assume it will be getting larger as time goes by.

There is no single "best" online store. It would be easier to make a recommendation if we knew exactly what knife, or at least what brand, you're looking for.

Agreed on this,
And to add from a Canadian perspective, KnifeCenter has very friendly shipping terms from U.S. to Canada
Cheers

geez I didn't know If I posted a topic in the wrong place (OMG! we're gonna die!) I'd get so much crap from everyone.

Geez, Common sense goes a long way also.

Maybe you should stop and think what the discussion forums would look like if we did not have some guidelines not to post commercial where to buy what posts in the discussion forums. (Even special people should actually understand.)

GPKnives and Bladehq are great.

I am not a fan of Knifeworks. Ordered a benchmade 710 m390 version. About two weeks later the knife hasn't arrived, so I contact them. Apparently they were out of stock when I ordered (even though it said in stock), and canceled my order without notifying me. Hadn't refunded my payment until I contacted them that day

I haven't even seen the M390 710 listed on their site for months. It gave way to the CPM-M4 version months ago.

Forgot to mention this was about a year and a half ago when they were only about $150. Still wish I would have got one, I rarely ever see them in the sale section

Gotta give another nod to GPKnives. Ordered a native lightweight today, asked in the notes if I could get one without blade play and a centered blade, if not no biggie. Couple hours later I get a call from them, telling me they only have one left and it has no blade play but is a bit off center. Told them that's fine, thanks for the call. I figured they could have easily just shipped it out to me and hope I liked it, but that extra bit of effort is very welcoming.

I have had wonderful customer service experiences with usamadeblade.com and knivesshipfree.com... GREAT people to deal with! They have both been SUPER friendly and helpful. I had a return to knivesshipfree and they made the experience exceptional! I wish my employees handled my customers like they did! A+++ guys! As for Scott at usamadeblade... this man knows his knives and knows how to take care of his customers! People and businesses like these make knife collecting/using even more fun!
