Best Production Folder

I like Spyderco lightweight knives with VG-10 steel the best. I also love the thumbhole on spyderco folders.

IMHO - sebenza, but of course it's a personal choice and why oh why do I feel like I'm in a time warp,, reliving the same threads???? :D

Benchmade 710
Buck/Strider 880SP
Strider SnG/SMF
CRK Sebenza
Spyderco Manix

I just can't make up my mind....

I have to throw some more in there, so here is my short list of the best production folders IMHO:

Strider SNG/SMF/AR/GB/FNG/PT
CRK Sebenza/Mnandi
Mission MPF-A2
Emerson Knives Commander/CQC 13
Benchmade Skirmish
Spyderco Manix

Sebenza? Who spends 500 on a folder?

Hell I think Emerson are pricy. My commander is my most expensive purchase.

Just get a sharpmaker. It'll make any knife you own perform better than its NIB condition.

My AUS-6 M16 can now cut through time and space :D

I also would like to throw in the Mission MPF 1 all titanium knife. I LOVE my Sebenza. To each his/her own!

Spyderco Paramilitary

Its made in America.
awsome blade shape, and its S30V.
great size handle, with awsome ergos, and made of grippy G10.
Love that always handy finger choil.
Trustworthy compression lock.
smooth action, solid feel.
Can buy three for the price of one Sebenza.
losing/breaking a knife that cost $112 does suck, but not has much as doing the same with a $400 knife.
Actually not being afraid to cut things with it either. I'm tired of hearing people whine about scratching/dropping their knives. If you like shiney pretty things, you should spend all your money on jewley and other "bling".

Me.... I'd spend $1000.00 if it's something I like. There is nothing wrong with spending the money if you want to. True there are nice inexpensive knives, but there are nice inexpensive cars too, but if I had the money for a Porsche I would buy one.

Yup, me too!! I am going to be spending $625 on a knife in 4-6 months when it will be ready! I am saving for it. I don't have a problem with spending that kind of money o a knife that I LOVE. But, hey, that is me.

FWIW, I've never handled any of knives mentioned but the BM 710HS and Spydie Manix gets mentioned alot.

it is totally unrelated to the thread but i almost wet myself reading your screen name "puppykicker".

i don't know why but my odd sense of humor i started laughing out loud.

p.s. i like animals (PETA folks)

For me, it's gotta be between the Sebenza and the Strider. One for fit and finish and the other for sheer brute toughhness.
