Best survival knife around $100? Considering Becker BK7 and ESEE6.

I have a feeling I'm chasing the "perfect" knife, and will never be satisfied because it's a want, not a need! My Rat7, Ka-Bar Turok, Sp2, BK2, and SRK are probably more than sufficient!

You won't get it what you want retail. If you are willing to spend more, there knife makers on here that will make a knife just for you. But if you suffer from the same disease many of us do, you'll be looking for the next one even after getting the perfect for you knife.

Condor has some good budget blades. The Lore series is really good at a lot of things-
This one is the Cave Lore, with the companion piece Oetzi knife

Kydex is available for it

The Terrasaur also has excellent reviews for good reason

That's my fear!

I like the Gerber Strong Arm or the Cold Steel SRK...both under $100 and both tough as nails!

RESTATED (also in the original post):
So I'm still chasing that "perfect" mid-weight, mid-length survival knife in the $100+/- range, and can't decide between a Becker BK7 and ESEE 6 (3D), especially given my list of existing tools. I suppose it would help to know what I already have and to get an opinion if it makes sense to buy the ESEE6 or BK7 (in other words, are these two knives overlapping my other "survival" knives). If not, any other suggestions in the $100+/- range (I can't afford too much more than that price range)?

Roger that...how about Fallkniven A1? I don't own one yet but it is on my list! Might be a little over your suggested budget though.

Not sure about the laminated VG10 steel. I've seen videos of blades made of that steel splitting due to lateral force.

I forgot about the Ontario SP-53
I have too many knives, it slipped my mind.

Nothing in your price range will come close.
It still should be available/hopefully
