Ok. So I have in theory done that. But I couldn't work out PMs so I just jammed it on your profile.
No idea. I haven't shopped with them. Thanks for that.
Now, I have to figure out if the source is legit. The internet can be a dangerous place.![]()
Hard to beat a Becker BK9 ... I've had a couple BK7s but traded or sold both and replaced them with BK9s. For me the BK7 falls in that no mans land where it's not enough knife to handle big knife stuff well and it's just big enough it doesn't handle small knife stuff well.
So a BK9 paired with even a good folding knife or small fixed blade would be my budget go to.
It’s about double your price point, but I think you need to add an LT Wright Genesis or GNS to that list.RESTATED (also in the original post):
So I'm still chasing that "perfect" mid-weight, mid-length survival knife in the $100+/- range, and can't decide between a Becker BK7 and ESEE 6 (3D), especially given my list of existing tools. I suppose it would help to know what I already have and to get an opinion if it makes sense to buy the ESEE6 or BK7 (in other words, are these two knives overlapping my other "survival" knives). If not, any other suggestions in the $100+/- range (I can't afford too much more than that price range)?
