Sure thing Spence, I will be whacking more trees than people. And now I see that there is more than one person who can recommend the chitlangi. I have seen a lot of good words about it in other threads too. Looks promising.

That weight comparison was really helpful Skeletor. I believe that a very light version chitlangi with a good distal tapering would not be a bad idea. Quick as a cat sounds good.

Yesterday I sat with my 25 Kobra in my hands and did some eye measuring. I tried to be intuitive on what would be the right blade length for me. I found out that the blade length that I intuitively speaking liked was a length of 34 cms (= 13 4/10 inches). So I am guessing a 18 or 19 inch chitlangi, on the light side, with distand tapering would be something for me.

I'll give it some time to let it sink in.
