Ugh, with pop (and cider) here, the less you pay, the more you get for some reason! :D The one I had in Sheffield was by Fentiman's, they do a range of somewhat 'up market' traditional soft drinks  Give it a try sometime Barrett, the flavour is not unusual, probably not a great deal to a Dr Pepper from what I can remember? One of my local bars has a Dandelion & Burdock beer on at the moment, I've had it once before, and it's quite nice, though I can't remember if it's a stout or a porter! :D There's also the "Brandylion" , a short shot of brandy and D & B! :D

Well, Jack, now I can say I've tried it. :D

It's an interesting taste. I can kind of see the comparison to Dr. Pepper, but the flavor is much more subtle. There's something else that it reminds me of, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is. I don't know that it would be my first choice of beverage, but I did enjoy it.

Good for you Barrett! :) It's about 30 years since I last tasted Dr Pepper, but I was trying to think of something you might have tried! :D Dandelion & Burdock was far more common here when I was a kid, along with 'Tizer', but Coke dominates the market now. I drink very few carbonated soft drinks, ginger beer probably being the most common, but I am glad you got to try Dandelion & Burdock :) I did have a pint of the Dandelion & Burdock stout last week, it's nice, but a little sweet for me, I don't think I could drink more than a pint of it

"Wouldn't mind buying her a Tizer, if it's still available in this area."
That's all I know about Tizer, thanks as so often to Monty Python.

And it looks like it's still available!
This morning's coffee and a French traditional.

I ate a lot of Cadbury chocolate to get the proofs of purchase necessary to order three of these regional Denby mugs.

Yeah, though I can't remember the last time I saw anyone drinking it :( LOL! Very cool Jer :) I can remember saving Cadbury's chocolate wrappers back in the 80's! :D This one cost me a quid from the market! ;) :D

Jack Black Jack Black - nice stuff that India Pale Ale from Brewdog - they have the best non-alcoholic I've ever tasted too, "Nanny State"

- oh, folder aint so bad, matey ;) :)

Nice knife and pic, Jer. I used to be a chocolate maker for Cadbury, once.;)

I haven't seen that angle on that lovely A. Wright before, Jack. Very nice swedge grinding.

Some Coopers Sparkling Ale, a bottle conditioned brew that predates all the Australian boutique microbrewery beers available now. My dad used to enjoy the odd bottle when he had company, now and then, so it's probably the first ale I snuck a swig of when he wasn't looking.;)

Cheers my friend, that's a great pic :) I've had a day in and out of the post office - 5 visits in all - interspersed with a couple of pints of a local ale 'Born in LS11' (Leeds postcode) from Sunbeam.

I only got a pic of my morning coffee though
