As is this Smashing Pumpkin with its cinnamon and star anise pumpkinny yumptiousness...
Not to be drunk ice cold like a lot of Aussie beer...
Seen here in it's natural environment with a 36 Carved Pumpkin Sunfish.
Cheers.

After about 23 hours of travel, a man might have a thirst. This is a local Arran ale, but I can’t remember which one. I fell asleep soon after. My SAK made it in the checked bag.

Sounds and certainly looks like a great beer! Most beers are much better at room temperature (or slightly chilled). ;)

This 7.4 IPA from Huddersfield's Magic Rock brewery was one of their first beers, brewed by a Sheffield lad :) It is intense and full of flavour, and I can never resist having a few halves of it whenever I see it on draught. I picked up some Yorkshire beers the other day, and thought I'd try Cannonball in a can :) Tastes pretty darn good

I’ll have to be on the lookout for that Cannonball Jack!

Definitely my friend, there are lots of good traditional English ales to enjoy, but in the larger towns, you may well find it on sale :)

I had to go outside Yorkshire for this delicious well-brewed 9% 'man-pop', which I could certainly drink every day :) Though it being sold as a pint here is certainly against the law, since a US pint is 473 ml and an Imperial (UK) pint is 568 ml. I think it's actually quite a serious criminal offence!

I have a very good friend from England who is always quick to point out that distinction, and figure it into his financial calculations! According to him, we Americans are paying far too much for our beer in the States. I’ll post more pictures when I get a faster WiFi connection. At this guest house, it’s almost impossible to read this picture-heavy forum!
