A frosty cold Dale's Pale Ale today. The bad news is my local market is closing it out. The good news is it was half price!

Got to use my Stag Pemberton to open a case of my favorite mead this evening. I should have taken a picture while I was drinking it next to the glass, but I was detracted by the drinking at hand.

Oskar Blues brews some great beers. Dale's is one of my favorite "drinking beers."

I've tried mead a few times (meads that were reported to be "good ones"), but haven't ever found one that made me think, "I'd like to drink that on a regular basis." It has been a few years, maybe I should try one again. You never know.

Yeah, there's a lot of bad meads out there, and even with good ones it's hit or miss for me. I guess you could say the window for a home run in my opinion is smaller than with other tasty beverages. If you ever want to try it again, check out https://www.elginmead.com/ They're my favorite.
