Let me know what you think of Chimay. It's a Belgian ale made by Trappist monks. The red label is the original. Excellent. The blue label is called "Grande Reserve", or something like that. There may be a couple of others, but I prefer red or blue label. Comes in a bottle of about 24 oz. (I don't think in ml!), with a cork, or in smaller bottles with metal cap. Either four or six pack.

Okay...

They only had 750ml bottles & 4 packs at Total Wine.

But, Mrs. Oro tells me she's seen it at World Market (which happens to be next to Ulta Beauty ).

Long story short, I picked up two 11oz. bottles of each (build your own 6 pack ).

Del at the register (both World Market & Ulta Beauty ) pictured below.

I'll post a review tomorrow evening on each one.

I'm also enjoying a great nightcap as I post this!

Yeah, Macallan is good stuff.

Several of my friends all chipped in and gave me 50 airplane bottles for my 50th.

Much better than golf balls!

After almost 10 years, I'm down to a bakers dozen or so...

I'm not usually a fan of "yellow" beers but this one is rather exceptional. Blonde Bombshell by Cascade Lakes Brewing in Bend, Oregon.

Paired with a rather nice knife.
