……..very real. Have ordered some, eagerly awaiting its arrival - will post accordingly

This beer comes from an existing small brewery, already significant in Sheffield - a clever mover methinks

Some great drinking there my friend, and the Barlow is a beauty  :)
Sadly, I have not been able to get hold of any yet, but soon I hope.

Apologies, therefore, for not having a blade of some sort to go with...

However, I trust our esteemed Jack Black Jack Black should hopefully be one of the first to acquire and grace this popular section of our forum 🍻

Just catching up here, and thanks for the heads-up Paul, Stan liked his beer  :)

Edit - According to the article, they launched the beer at a place currently named 'The Millowner's Arms'. This is a cafe, which is part of Kelham Island Museum, where Stan had his workshop, a short distance from the main museum. It has had various names over the years, all in much the same vein. Stan only worked at the museum a couple of days a week, and usually took sandwiches for his lunch, but every now and again, I would offer to take him out for his lunch. Stan loved pubs, and when he was younger, and at his old workshop, used to like to go to a pub called Fagan's, where I was also once a regular. The Fat Cat is a great pub, not too far from the museum, but it was too far for Stan to walk, so we would go to the museum cafe. Stan would always ask for egg and chips, even though it wasn't on the menu. Fortunately, the cafe was licensed, so we could also have a beer. On our last visit together, they had tarted up the cafe a bit, and renamed it The Millowner's Arms. I wonder if they actually know Stan had drunk there :)
