  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

I have a collection of various Brands from Islay. Laphroaig, Ardbeg, and Lagavulin are my favs.
I'm relatively new to Scotch. I've had the Ardbeg 10 year old and its also one of my favorites. Tried a Kilchoman at a friend's and found it interesting. I want to try it again. I haven't tried a Lagavulin yet. I have this Ardbeg An Oa which I haven't opened yet. Haven't opened the Glenmorangie either.

The Glenmorangie is totally different from the Lagavulin but I suspect you already new that. I have a few bottles that are less smokey and peaty than the Islay malts such as Balvenie Caribbean Cask and Dalwhinnie 15 yr. The Ardbeg Uigeadail is one of my favs but my Lagavulin 16 year old is my all time fav. I've been a scotch lover for about 53 years. My motto is..."I'm too old to drink cheap booze".😆
