  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

Certainly has a distinctive bottle o_O
It has.

It has lots of cherry flavor up front and a little oak on the back end. Something I would use more as a mixer or say as a after dinner sipper to go with vanilla ice cream. It’s a good bourbon, but not something I would normally go for. I normally go for more complex bourbons with plenty of pepper and oak.

Warming up for Jorvik Viking Festival at the weekend ;)

Mitt, that rye looks very intriguing; any idea how long it was aged?
I believe it's a 12. Its a very complex rye. Upon first opening it was very port like, heavy and sweet but certainly a rye. It has lots of leather, tobacco, and dried fruit on the nose. Its not a normal rye when it comes to taste, the spice and burn are subdued and not overpowering. I get leather, pepper, pumpkin and dried apricot and raisins.
