Pint after my hike yesterday :)

Haha it’s my baby girls chair. Mom was not a fan of me using it for a knife/beer prop…
Thanks for the info. :)
My family rolls their collective eyes often over my knife photo activity.

Celebrating the first night of summer break. Cheers!View attachment 2196884
Congrats, Todd; it's great that school ends for you before Memorial Day!:cool::thumbsup:

Beer and SamDamLamb both look great, Jack!:cool::thumbsup:
One of the best things about a walk on a summer afternoon is justification for a beer when I return home. Twice this week, I enjoyed one of these after an afternoon 5-mile hike:

I found this new-to-me brew at the grocery store last week: Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, from Colorado. I'm a fan of most porters, and this one is no exception. As I learned to say in my very first German conversation in my college German 1 class back in 1969: "Es schmeckt am besten!"

So much beer to catch up on while I’m home

That’s a great can! How’s the beer? I don’t know what Urban Chesnut’s distribution is like (I’m pretty sure we can’t get it in MN), but I might need to pick some of those up the next time I’m driving through MO. A few to enjoy, and one to stick on the shelf next to my Stan Musial ball. 🙂

I don’t think it’s far at all. I’ve only seen it when I’m in town.
In mathematics, 6 is a "perfect number": https://www.britannica.com/science/perfect-number :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

I wonder how many nearly perfect players have worn #6?

He is baseball’s perfect knight. The serious number thing is a thing from one of the gas station’s promo with the team when they score 6 runs.

I didn't know about the 6-run promo thing.
I know that Johnny Pesky, Steve Garvey, Al Kaline, Tony Oliva, and Stan Musial are all players whose #6 has been retired by some MLB team. No argument from me that Musial is the best on this list, although my personal favorite is Kaline, since I'm a Tigers fan and I share a birthdate with him.
I saw a list of Hall of Fame players who wore #6, but when I started checking them out in baseball-reference.com, many of them had worn 6 relatively briefly, often early or late in their careers.

I had an old favorite with a new label with supper tonight. I don't know of very many Scotch-style Ales besides this one.

Part of the front label with a slogan I don't remember noticing before:

Back label, where the brewery "blows its own horn" (note that my bottle is already more than a month old!):
