I didn't know about the 6-run promo thing.
I know that Johnny Pesky, Steve Garvey, Al Kaline, Tony Oliva, and Stan Musial are all players whose #6 has been retired by some MLB team. No argument from me that Musial is the best on this list, although my personal favorite is Kaline, since I'm a Tigers fan and I share a birthdate with him.
I saw a list of Hall of Fame players who wore #6, but when I started checking them out in baseball-reference.com, many of them had worn 6 relatively briefly, often early or late in their careers.

I had an old favorite with a new label with supper tonight. I don't know of very many Scotch-style Ales besides this one.

I saw the new Founders Porter when I bought groceries today, but won't buy it until the next grocery trip (today was a Killian's Irish Red day on the grocery list). I don't mind the Dirty Bastard change to the "new art" from that creepy old guy on the original label, but I thought the woman on the old Porter label was a "classy dame".

I didn’t know about all those players except Kaline. Underrated player, and the good thing about the Tigers winning in ‘68 was that he was part of a WS championship team.

Thanks Barrett. I was drinking a Full Life from 4-Hands Brewing. Little crisper than a Spotted Cow, but very similar, good stuff.

First brew with this tea ... 3 grams/46.2 grains, water nuked for 3 minutes (190 ~ 200 degs) 8 minutes steep time ... good flavor, but a tad weak. Going to uppit to 4 grams (61.7 grains) and mebby steep a tad longer for the next cup.

If anyone cares, Golden Sail Brand Lichee Black Tea (loose leaf). I like it.

Fore the record, I have been known to induldge in "adult" beverages. However, they are mighty hard to acquire here. (owner and staff won't buy, for the res'dunts, even when given the funds) and I gots no vehicle.
Vehicle cost too much to buy, feed, and maintain anyway, so I don't "miss" having one ... plus my DL is expired ...
(I wonder ... since my DL is expired, am I still who it says I am? If not, who am I?!? )

("After 5 P.M. (17:00)" is when those allowed "adult beverages by their doc (does include me, myself, and I) are given one.
We cannot keep them in our room, with or without a personal refrigerator. "Life" is just "easier" to go without.)

Second Cup 4 grams Tea, steeped 10 minutes much better.
Ginger & Lemon Snaps (arrived hours after the photo was took) also good.
