Yes I like most of what Founders offers and their Oktoberfest is better, but Sierra Nevada’s is really good! It was the only Oktoberfest available when I was at the store last month so I picked it up. I’m glad I did and I’ll buy it again but I do prefer Founders more.

I seem to like the style of bottle opener on this LionSteel jack with the longer blade. I find myself grabbing it more than a SAK.

I got to try this whiskey for the first time on our trip to Ireland..... it was in Edinburgh.... (figure THAT one out.... )
It is good, good stuff..... I'm searching our area liquor stores for availability, as we speak....

Since I couldn't carry a knife with me in Ireland, I had to wait til we got into Scotland to take the SAK out of the suitcase and drop it in my pocket.....
This is a really nice lager, brewed in Edinburgh.... the bartender girl pronounced it "pa-loo-za".... I took her word for it. I got to try it both in the bottle and on tap.... it was really nice, both ways....
The label on the glass was for a local cider, which I didn't try.

Photo is from a year ago, but I picked up a 6-pack of this Great Lakes Oktoberfest when I bought groceries this morning, and had a bottle with my supper tonight. I think it's excellent!
