The drink is pisco, the national drink of Peru, I hear. There is a cocktail called a "pisco sour" made with pisco, lime juice, simple syrup, egg white, and Angostura bitters. Haven't tried it yet. Drinking it neat like I did in a Peruvian restaurant in Round Rock, Texas a couple of months ago. Good stuff.

I currently have all of these brands in the fridge in the basement laundry room. (I'm quite sure I had some Bell's Oktoberfest, too, but I think that may be the only one while I found while we were on vacation "up north" in August. Throughout September and October, Usually have some flavor of Oktoberfest beer with my supper every other evening, alternating those with porters, stouts, and Killian's.

Leinie, for the win! (FTW) I know it's heresy, but I really don't care for Shiner's Octoberfest... SamAdams is pretty good, but for my taste, it's the Leinie....

I like Jameson's original. I haven't tried the Black.
IIRC it seems like the Black is getting into single malt territory price wise, and I always go for the Scotch. Maybe I'll try the Black next time 🤔

Yes, the original is pretty good, but I like the Black a little more. I think it was in the $50 range, IIRC... Have you tried Teeling? It's another good Irish... the Small Batch blend is the least expensive, and it's very nice, IMO

edit:.... I just checked, and the Black is more in the $35 range.... just my speed.... 😁

I think its more around here. I'll check next time I'm at the liquor store. Liquor prices are weird. In Tennessee Laphroig 10 year is $15 per bottle cheaper than it is here in MO, yet Glenfiddich 12 year is $21 more expensive down there o_O
