Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

Back at the end of December, I posted about Founders Vanilla Porter, which was new to me. I compared it to "plain old" Founders Porter, and posted a photo of a bottle with the "old" label because I didn't have a photo of the "new" label. Recently, I bought a 6-pack of Founders Porter and remembered to take a photo of the current label.
Here's the former label, with a mysterious (and as far as I can tell, irrelevant) woman pictured:

Here's the current label:

That looks like a tasty beer, José, and the goat on the label is wonderful!:cool:

I recently bought some bock beer, but the animal on the label is a male Bighorn Sheep, rather than a goat.
(Here's a link to a website showing images of numerous bock beer labels containing goats:

Here's a photo of the label of Shiner Bock. It's pretty good beer IMHO, but I enjoy it much more if I pour it into a mug rather than drinking straight from the bottle.

Shiner Bock also has plenty of reading material on each bottle:

Last week was less than ideal since I caught COVID-19 (although I'm happy it took more than 4 years before it got me 🤓).
But last week was good since I discovered that a liquor store in my city carries Paulaner Salvator double bock beer, which I thought was outstanding when I had it a few times while visiting my daughter in Spain almost 10 years ago. This week, I masked up and bought a couple of 6-packs (for less than $2 per bottle).

I tried one Thursday with my supper. Probably not as sensational as I remembered, but certainly a Top Three beer for me, I think.:cool::cool::thumbsup:
(The RR denim micarta canoe that I ordered on July 4 was also a pleasant surprise. The website said it had mirror-polished stainless blades, but when it arrived, all it took was using it to cut up my breakfast fruit one morning to reveal that the blades were actually carbon steel.🤓)

Enjoying some of the Corryvreckan while reading right now; the Macallan was bought for a very special occasion but is excellent. I have not broken open the Lagavulin yet, that was a gift from a friend as I’m waiting for a special time to do so.

In the scotch realm, Laphroaig is generally my go to though almost any Islay will tickle my fancy. Any Scotch enthusiast here?
