Beware of Glockinator19 - Tyler Dewitt

He contacted or posted in my WTT thread ,it's speculation on my part but the knives I am looking for are knives the member has or promised other members. Told him to get lost .
 
I PM'd him with a link to this thread. He has not logged in since yesterday though...

Glockinator19 had a new Umnumzaan in the trading forums, I made an offer on 3-12 and he accepted on 3-13. Addresses were swapped and I asked him a question about insurance on the package (also on 3-13) and I got a reply on 3-14 that it would be best to wait until later in the week or possibly the weekend to ship it as a family member was ill and he had to leave the state for a week.
As I'm not entirely an idiot, I wasn't about to ship off my end of a swap with that being the final correspondence, so I waited until 3-22 to do a little research and found that on 3-13 he posted "Gone..." in his for sale thread and had been active for the time that he said he would be gone. I emailed him with no response and then contacted the person whom I assumed was the member that Glockinator19 had agreed to sell to. After discovering that it was paid for before he agreed to my trade conditions I feel that Glockinator is an attempted scammer. I emailed him again asking him for an explanation on 3-26 and still haven't heard back from him even though he has been active up until two days ago in forum posts.

This is the third incident I've heard of involving this member.

The other two panned out after a lot of BS and drama. Ended up being issues with the post office, so I've been told.

I'm familiar with both of the members I'm referring to and their stories were identical. Package not getting sent out at the right time/Not arriving properly/Etc

One of them did a little digging and told me he has a presence on a few other forums out there and this is regular behavior for him.

I'm not sure what the deal is if he's a scammer or not, but I decided not to take any chances and opted out of a trade I was going to do with him.
 
I've sent him a link to this thread, let's see what happens. It's not like he will say he didn't notice.
 
I'm NOT a scammer and am NOT a theif, mxdave will get the exact knife he wanted this Monday, Tuesday at the latest. As well as another member who purchased a BM 755,and a member who purchased a Piranha bodyguard an gerbeer propel downrange auto. All members who purchased these Knives will recieve them in a few days guaranteed. I don't expect anyone to understand what's been going on with me, I was involved in a fatal car accident a few weeks ago and haven't been able to do much of anything. If you want proof I'll send you my hospital bills and the news article, thanks.

What about the traded knife that was already paid for ?
 
I have never traded a knife that has been bought by someone else, yes I have an umnumzaan, but I also have a completely different umnumzaan that I had first which was the one listed to sell. Not the same knife
 
Well the Umnumzaan that you had posted for sale had a DOB of Feb 28 2014 and the one in the pictures that you emailed me had the same birth date. Were they both made the exact same day?
 
If this is all a simple mistake I will be the first to apologize. I need some evidence of that first, though.

That is possible but not common, I have a pair of twins too. Look very carefully at the handwriting on the birth cards. Even on my twins with cards written by the same hand, I can readily see differences.

Hmmm, strange, as it works for me. But you can do the same search I tried to link but just clicking his name and View Forum Posts. That's all it was. Glockinator was actively trying to make other trades while not responding to the OP.

This is still not smelling Kosher to me as why wouldn't he let Dave know about the accident sooner instead of the family emergency for the reason not to ship on time?? Horrible grammar, but you get the point.

You should post the news article, me thinks... people are asking for evidence and this would provide some...
