Beware osograndeknives.com

I too have heard many bad tales of OSO Grande. Enough that it prohibits me from purchasing anything from them. Omikron, have you checked out the Microtech Dragonfly? It's a less expensive version of the Tachyon. 1sks and NewGraham both still have a few left on their web sites.

Just ordered a super blue endura from them yesterday. Spoke to a rep on the phone who reserved me the last one they had in stock he said. let you know how that goes.

I posted yesterday that they list the domino in stock, not knowing their history... sounds like you better call first before placing an order.

I've ordered about 5 knives from them, the only issue i had with them is, I had 2 Kershaw Tilts on pre order with them and when they came in they told me they were too limited and had to be 1 per person, I later found out that they had put some on the website for more than the pre order was. They would never return my emails or phone calls, made me not want to do business with them again, and they claim to be Christians.

I bought a SPyderco dodo in orange from there. The price was reasonable. a day later, I decided to order another one, and the price jumped $40 from the price that was listed only 3 days prior. The same thing happened on the Tilt. The prices on LEs goes up every couple days by 10-20% until they are the same as the forum flippers. Crazy.

I've noticed that a few people have done this in the past, and it has caused the more reliable sellers to follow suit. The knives with Ti framelocks, special exotic steel, and such used to have a decent price. But some dealers decided to get in on the action and I just cannot in good conscience buy from legit dealers that participate in the same gouging practices. No matter how great they are or their reputation might be or not be. Because of one or two guys that screwd a dealer over, everyone has to pay the price. No thanks.

The knives I did get from them were pretty rare, I got 3 Spyderco Para 2 CTS-20cp, and the Tilt all at good prices. Just the issue with the second Tilt. I feel bad pointing people in their direction for the Tilt and the gray Para 2.

It has been 11 years since the first negative feedback, but nothing has changed. I ordered a razor on 12 May. Order Status "Waiting for payment", even though I paid for. Your letters do not respond. I wrote a comment on their Facebook page, but there is just silence ...
