ghost jade +1 as far as steel... I want a good ol carbon steel. the skyline wouldnt suffer from dlc though i wouldnt suffer from lack of coating.
 
I say we should start a few more polls. One for blade steel and one for color.

Take the top two vote getters in each and start and final head to head poll for each to determine what it should be.
 
Already have my Tan/Black & standard Skyline. Red & Orange have already been done on G10. Maybe a Dark Green of some sort. For steel I'd say go with a Composite blade - D2 & 14C28N.
 
Yes please. A composite blade would be awesome but costs may exclude a lot of folks. On the other hand I'm a sucker for OD Green handle with a black blade.

I'd conditionally take one depending on cost and materials. I'd like to see a different color G10 or Micarta handle and a slight steel upgrade on the blade. Nothing too extravagant to make the cost unreasonable.
 
I am defiantly a maybe. Depending more on steel type than the scales. Price would be a factor.

I was thinking we could do that once we got a decent number of votes, not get ahead of ourselves.
 
I'm down with at least 2 or 3 :D

I like the 154cm and the CB ideas.

I think a composite blade Skyline would be the bee's knees.
 
I would definitely be in for one and probably two of the Skylines.
 
Just remember: One of the main things that made the Skyline such a superb knife is the price. I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for a special run, but I think it should still be kept reasonable.

Skyline is a little small for me but I'd spring for one with a premium steel.
 
To keep the cost down I'd be up for a stonewashed 154cm or whatever upper end steel is handy (e.g. if ordering 154cm is more expensive than using Elmax already on hand) in a stonewash and digital camo G10... With enough for a rerun of the 0300 desert warfare.. But I'll take anything stonewashed or satin I can get my hands on!
