I think this is a great idea! Let the BF folks decide.

My $0.02 is blue or green G-10 and S30V, ZDP, Vanax or some CTS. Stonewashed, DLC or composite blade.

There are a lot of good ideas floating around here, silver carbon twill, carbon fiber, 3D texture, blue or green G-10.
S110V, S30V, ZDP-189, Elmax, Vanax, CTS, (stainless devin thomas damascus), stonewashed, CLD, composite, Ti liner, double liners, jimping, definitely low rider clip, all great options!


I would be down for at least 2, depending on price and specs.

I'd like something basic like blue g10 and a satin blade. But a carbon fiber frame lock composite blade would be the bees knees even though it'd likely never be cost effective.
 
Like most of the ideas but some (or a lot) are a bit over the top.

I agree on the CF scales. Titanium or steel liner...doesn't make too much of a difference to me on such a small knife. And most of the steel suggestions sound pretty good. I'd actually prefer it not to be damascus though.
 
Well if it is going to be the BF special edition it has to have blue G10, because the forums color is blue (seems pretty simple to me)
and a stonewashed 154cm or elmax would be ideal. As long as it was under say $70, I would buy at least one. Maybe a new pocket clip (deep carry/ low- rider) would be my preference. That would be beat, we need to make this happen!

Really 10 people wouldn't take a free one, are you serious.... I don't even own a skyline and love them/want one bad
 
What I would like to see in a limited-edition Skyline:
Elmax, KVT, stonewash finish, jimping on the flipper (like the Lahar), 4-way carry clip, wider and taller thumbstuds (right they only act as blade stops).

2 liners - my thought on this ... does the thumbstud act as a bladestop? its using the liner on one side and the g10 on the other side.

Silver twill for handle, use the M390 (stone washed) that is left over from the 0777 so it doesn't go to waste:D

But most importantly please make it available for the people in other countries, like me in the UK;)
 
I think we have enough votes to start the other polls (pulled from all the comments):

Blade Material: s30v, 154cm, s90v, elmax, m390, composite (any/all), ZDP-189, S60/90/110v, Vanax 35/75, VG10, S35vn

Handles: G10 in these colors: blue, jade green, desert tan, flat dark earth(brown), olive drab, silver twill, digi cam, carbon fiber

Blade Finish: stonewashed, satin, polished, DLC, composite

Top 2 (3 if they are really close) go into a final poll to determine the winner (so people aren't afraid to vote for something out there the first round).
 
I just had an idea that might work better for some guys, the best of both worlds:
How about a stonewash on the blade grind to show wear less and polished on the spine (or DLC on the spine), kinda like the Speedform II. Or if DLC, why not go tiger striped?
