BF W&S knife Ironwolf list

Hey guys,

I know it's been a while, but I haven't had time to think lately. When I get busy, I cut myself off of the vast majority of the internet, or I get caught in something that keeps me from working. (my forums are my worst offenders)

For Progress: Every blade has been profiled, tangs tapered, and blades beveled. I have also finished the heat treating, and initial clean up.

I have been finishing each blade as I get ready to handle it, as the fine grit work gets to be a royal PITA if I work in batches. I am starting with the Maple handle knives, as this way if there is any shrinkage, I should be able to catch it by the time the Micarta handled ones are done.

I am still aiming for the Sept/Oct dateline, and I am now trying to push a little quicker, as I also told myself that I can't go hunting til they are done (the season started last weekend) and I have my eye on a buck that likes the woods behind us.

I am heading off in about two hours for another weekend working the Ren Faire. I will try to pop in when I get back on Monday night. Again, I am sorry about the absence, but I try to keep up on the e-mails, so if you have any direct questions try that route.

In the meantime, here is a pic of the knives after heat treating and initial cleaning. The two standing straight up are the patterns. And yes, that workbench does have a hole in it.

thank you ken, I can only speak for me, but go hunting bro, enjoy yourself, I can wait :)

I can wait, better for you to be a happy hunter than to rush these blades.

Can I hunt your property while you finish up, and where has that buck been traveling?

I don't think it is goingto go as far as CA, Ramm :)

It looks like they will be finished by this time next week(saturday) and ready to ship. Barring any major hassles, I will be finishing everything, including sheaths by then.

Also, I have been contacted by a few who wanted a similar blade, but didn't get the order in on time to be included in this run, and therefore, no stamp. I had a small hard drive problem, and have lost most all ofmy e-mail contacts. I am ready to take orders for those knives, just e-mail me again.

Thanks
