Makael, I really appreciate your input and the contribution you make to bladeforums. Loctite! I've never used it before but I don't know how that flew over my head, I'll have to pick some up and try it. What strength do you suggest? At least we get to weed out the trolls with relative ease.
I’ve been using something different than lock tite. It goes on pre assembly allowed to dry then assembled. It stays on the threads through many disassembly and reassembly cycles. It allows you to adjust the tension on the screws without loosing the locking ability. Vibra-tite vc3
I fully understand the stress your going through having spent months in hospitals while my wife recoverd from brain surgery. Browsing around on this board helped kill time in a good way and kept my mind from wandering into dark places but that was a different situation and we all deal withIm sitting in Sacred Heart hospital. I have a family member waiting to pass on. Ive been here for 8 days. I suppose my mental status is on a short fuse. Ill just reel back a bit. I truly enjoy the forums. I probably overeact at times. Wallace posted a legitimate issue, i got bent over someone saying to throw their Buck in the trash and buy a benchmade. Totaly hit me wrong, then another member tell me im the ring leader out of nowhere. Anyway. Ill take a step back.

BTW I had one of those bad days so I got into it with another member and got a stern warning and a pefectly good thread locked
but here I am. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
I’ll be checking that stuff out. I have used fabric mender or liquid stitch and it works in similar fashion when I wanted to have adjustable settings. It can be messy and limited service if adjusted often but if only adjusted initially and then no more adjustments then it holds indefinitely.I’ve been using something different than lock tite. Take care guys. Let me know if anyone needs anything. My last post .
Thanks guys. Good comments are appreciated. Tough week and looks like it continues. My grandmother is tough as they come but is near the end. Sweetest gal I've ever known.
I'm fairly new to this forum and I must say that Makael has been one of the brighter stars on this forum.Think of all the Years you had with her, the good and the bad. In the long run, they all turn out to be good. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers...

Lets forget about the past.Yes,I used to do the same thing at one time I let other people bait me until lost my cool,I don't play that game with trolls anymore,There are people of some of these forums that make it their main goal,to stir the pot and piss people off.Ive been here longer than most of you and have seen this a few times here,Don't let them achieve their goal of ticking you off and making you leave, that's just what that guy would love to see.
