BF

Thanks guys. Good comments are appreciated. Tough week and looks like it continues. My grandmother is tough as they come but is near the end. Sweetest gal I've ever known.

Hang in there my friend. I know more then anyone that nothing anybody says or does will make easier but your in my prayers.

Who would have thunk... collecting fans? Love it. This place and you folks never cease to amaze me.

Here's one I just finished restoring this weekend, works like it was made yesterday instead of in 1901. Not bad for a 118 year old fan. Fans are as much fun to collect as knives and can do as much damage or more to your fingers if you aren't careful. No OSHA back then. Open brass terminals on the back to electrocute you, brass blades whirring around at 1800 rpm or more.....they will take a finger off if your aren't paying attention.

You guys are great. A really great bunch.

I wanted to update, My grandmother passed away last night at 10:34pm. Just a couple of hours after being moved from Sacred Heart Hospital to a Hospice facility next door. Most of the family was on site. 91 years old.
she will be missed by all of us very much. After watching her through this ordeal, I am amazed at just how tough of a woman she was. I cant hold a candle to her situation. Im amazed.
My parents have been staying with us for the last week or so. Everyone headed out this morning back to Bridgeport WA. Im not sure yet of when services will be held.

I wanted to thank everyone for putting up with my posts now and again. After 3 years or so of collecting Buck knives, getting to know the guys here on the forums, getting to know some of the great people at Buck knives I tend to speak too quickly. Anyway, thanks again and look forward to seeing more knives from all of you guys. The temperature this weekend will drop down to under 10degrees. Ive got some sheaths to get made but need a break in the temperature. I will complete as I can. thank you

I am looking forward to more of your posts. You realize, I believe, there is no leaving as I have many more issues to post about.

I am sorry that your grandmother passed. I wish her well on her journey back home. I am sure there is much honor for her life.

Stephen.

Smoke and prayers..hope to see you back when you feel ready.

I don't post much in the Buck or Traditional forums but go through the new posts that sound interesting every night and see your contributions are positive and helpful 99% of the time so hang in there.

She had a long time to make a lot of great memories that you and your family will always remember. Sometimes a family member passing helps you appreciate your life even more. My heart goes out to you and your family Mike. I'm also happy for you to see such a close looking group that will continue to love one another. Cherish every moment my brother and always hold dear the people that made you who you are.
