Attention BF2020 Away We Go - Books are closed

I didn’t realize my name was on a list and didn’t get any @notification. Just throwing it out there as once I found the list, with my forum name on it, there was a lot of talk about being dishonorable and not following through on commitments. The process went way faster than I expected and I am happy to be able to participate. There may well be others who are not aware they have been publicly tagged for missing the payment. Regardless- thanks, hope all are well.

I did! But, when I got there, I saw this: "This product is by invitation only. If you didn’t speak for the knife on Bladeforums and were directed to this link, don’t purchase."

Are you saying it's okay to proceed? If so, I will!

That message on the order thread was posted when the link went live. The 8/12/20 New Information addition to post #2 was added after the link went live. That would be the one I'd hang my hat on. I'd go for it.

I suspect that the system limits how many @ notifications will be sent from one post. I kinda remember not getting them when there's a long list of names. (in typical computers-are-a-pain fashion, the sender doesn't get any indication that the alerts don't go through)

There were no notifications this year. If you posted in the "knife count" thread, you were expected to pay attention and order when asked (via this thread). I would have liked notifications personally. But that is water under the bridge and I don't really care much at this point. My order went in I believe on the second day or late the first day of taking orders.

If you haven't ordered, I would suggest you do it promptly. I suspect the available numbers are shrinking fast.

I placed my order :):thumbsup:

I was just referring to knifeswapper knifeswapper 's post in which he @ tagged a long list of members, reminding them that ordering had started. I believe the forum software limits how many tag notifications will work per post.
