BF2020 Blade Etch

Bruce I think this knife is going to end up being a super knife. I'm new to the swayback but my quick analysis showed the Case to be too small. The GEC Viper to be a little dainty at the tip and the Rough Ryder just a little too robust. I'm thinking our BladeForums knife at 3 5/8" and the blade thickness falling between the GEC and the RR to be perfect.

@btb01 Barrett, you are a wizard! I find myself becoming attracted to a design I never cared for before (I’m even looking at CASE Swayback Jacks) - this could become financially damaging! Thanks for all the intellectual efforts from all involved. I normally don’t care for a blade etch, but I like this one and support it. OH
I've got a few swayback jacks by Case... I could send you one to play with for a couple of weeks if you wanted to just check one out. They are SS, though. They are close to the perfect watch pocket knife, in my sometimes humble opinion. Shoot me a PM if you want....

It’s been mentioned already and perhaps it isn’t possible, but I really like the idea of the BladeForum2020 etch on the liner or backspring in the blade well. It keeps the blade less cluttered and also doesn’t declare as prominently that it is a forum knife. The understatement makes it more special Since it isn’t obvious at a glance and it is less “look at me!”
Inside the liner would be SUPER CLEAN :thumbsup::thumbsup:! Happy with whatever happens

Thanks for your observations Joe and especially for the offer to give one a try Hornetguy. I’m good for the present time, seen them in Case display cases and have thus far passed due to the style, but plan to handle one soon at a local dealer, if I like the feel I will pick one up. OH
