BIG FOLDERS: Knives over 4" Inches

I'm still a big fan of the Cold Steel Hold Out 1. Sometimes the tip is a little thin for a 6" blade, but the tried and true shape combined with good construction makes for a pretty nice knife.

I remember that Josh. At the time I thought that there is no way I would grab one....well........ I half kind of want one now, lol. I'm also thinking about the Kobun. It looks like a nice tight little package.

The beefy Buck Goliath. Blade right at 4". Does that make the cut?

Great knife!!! Carried mine everyday for 2 years, don't know too many other people who have them. Big folder but the lock is a little weak for my likings, maybe I just got a flop. Alright that was all carry on lol

Some of the larger folders I've carried...

Here's one that doesn't get much press. It's a budget priced absolute tankoif a knife. It's made by Hallmark Cutlery and is from the Bad Blood line. The designs are from custom maker Sean Kendrick. This one is a manual flipper named Fire Splitter. Sean makes a custom version of this knife that is quite impressive. It's almost 5.5" closed and 9.5" open. Weighs a ton and is very robust.

Here is a crappy pic.

I'm with smokinape on this one. Just get a cold steel recon 1 xl and call it a day. It's all the big folding knife you will ever need. Quality design, great lock, pretty damn good blade steel...and it's honkin' huuuuge! You'll love it!

DDR custom 5.5" AXD

I've posted this elsewhere, but it seems to fit here too, enjoy some ubr love!
