bin laden is gone

I'm glad he's gone, I just want to know why we buried him at sea

The U.S. official who disclosed the burial at sea said it would have been difficult to find a country willing to accept the remains. Obama said the remains had been handled in accordance with Islamic custom, which requires speedy burial.

Thanks Soulrack, it answers why

On a separate note and my 2 cents though, still don't like it

Woot! Got that bastard!

M67 - or hes in CIA custody being interrograted... And you dont have to play by the rules with a dead man.

10 yrs is a long time to evade capture or death. We should have been able to get him much sooner imo,I guess late is better than never. One thought, the danger lies in him being viewed as a marter, which will probibly happen. This is not over yet, lots of "little ones" commin up to take up the fight, which is not good.My two cents.

This whole time iv been running around with my tank buster looking in caves and they find him in a mansion? there goes my life time supply of infi

Wasn't he killed 9 years ago. I too saw on Yahoo that he was "buried" at sea. Why are people celebrating in the streets, isn't that what they do in Iraq when they kill somebody. And yes we gave them weapons and trained their troops. Believe nothing.

Man, conspiracy theories abound! Must be a lot of Alex Jones listeners here.

I'm just glad the bastard is dead. Too bad we can't reincarnate him and kill him again.

Good to hear!

I think it is fishy that Pakistan did not know he was in the biggest most expensive massive compound in a large city.

US to Pakistan: "who lives in that massive compound? The one with no phone, internet, and no garbage service?"

Pakistan: "Oh, that is no one, don't worry about it!"

No body goes unused in the ocean. Things come from many, many, many miles for such an occasion. The only thing I've seen that seems more reasonable to me is a sky burial, but even that leaves a monument in the form of a known visitable location. If people want to go to the gps location where he was dumped into the ocean, good luck, it's going to look pretty plain and your not really going to know if it it's the right place.
