CPK knives specifically?

If so, there’s a newer member who’s purchased about 7 CPK knives in the last week (2 more just hours ago it looks like) from the exchange so it doesn’t appear to be too difficult for some, what are ya trying to get? There’s been a flurry of sale threads lately, ever posted a WTB ad? I’ve sold several to members this way, I’ve purchased them this way too.

“Impossible” is the outcome with no or little effort. If the cost is too high for you to begin with, then availability doesn’t matter much if you’re not gonna pay the price anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️
 
I notice that you folks with the DEK3s are considerably cattier to your fellows than those without.

Continue walking around with your air of superiority long enough and someone may hand you your comeuppance. 🤣

I have no problem shelling out money for knives. Just ask my copious Busse accumulation.

I’ve tried to get in on the sales and by the time I post I’m like 75 posts down.🤣

As to the pricing - I’m sure I’ve read Nathan post something to the effect that he’s aware.

Thread is asking for “bitches” so I posted two I thought were legit. That’s all.
 
The thread was actually created to cull off-topic infighting among the faithful...before it overran another thread.

It has morphed, however, as things tend to do around these parts.

It'll last as long as it lasts, I suppose.

Ah, ok. Understood. I’ll see my way out - you guys have fun. I’ll try to bumble my way into one of the knives eventually.

The sales are super fast and the secondary prices are beyond what I'd pay. The easiest ticket is the preorders. They seem to always open on Fridays and there is usually some advance warning, so if you poke your head in here once a week you should manage to hear about it. You can safely buy anything in a preorder and easily pass it along if you don't like it. The DEK3 is a good example, not too many people seemed interested when they were offered. Interest sure picked up later.

Plus by the time preorders are received, prices have gone up, and you feel even more lucky and superior when you get it!

I felt a visible increase in my worth as a human being when my K18 arrived and all the weeping and gnashing of teeth of those who passed on the preorder started. I only feel a little bad about that. 🤣

Let me play. Let me play! I have a DEK 3 in MC. I am special! But other wonderful folks made it happen. Everyone I show it to, goes ooooooohhhhhh...

But I am unhappy.... about arthritis, about not getting over to visit Hard Knocks Hard Knocks when I was in Post falls, about missing the K20, about not going sail fishing this year. And about the fact that Lorien Lorien is funnier then me

Ask for a proxy. I'm going to try to proxy for people more on Friday sales. Unless something I really really want pops up, I'm happy to try and help.
I usually do okay in placing. I'd be willing to proxy for you on a sale some time.
