I just realized there is no BK-19!!!

The BK-18 was a recent design…so will Ethan release a new design for the BK-19 slot?

The BK19 was supposed to be a super secret military grade hatchet! haha

The few times I met and camped with Ethan we talked about a Becker Hatchet. From what I remember from those convoes:
Ethan will not make a hatchet unless it’s good enough for our military to carry. Period. And if that’s the case, it would be really hard to produce for the masses at an affordable “Becker cost”

I've only had a Condor muk, and I never used it, so I guess I''m not overly crazy about them either, but they are popular knives.

I like the top one of those three best, Dubz.
It really nails the critical features of a 'muk:

1) High or trailing point, tip at or above the spine
2) Not pointy, so no accidental hide-piercing
3) nice sweeping belly for skinning where the handle doesn't get in the way

It's hard to make pretty.

I've always used Ethan's stock handles for my Becker renderings.

Here is a Becker muk a made out of a bk18. It’s very close to dubz rendering but the muk shape was traced from the TM Hunt Mohawk muk. First time trying file work, and I took it too far with the scallops by the guard.
