Wow, sweet collection!
Never seen that hollow handle Chris Reeves nesmuk before, what's it called?

I love your Nessmuk rendering, Dubz. I’d buy it!

It’s funny, a few days before the Kephart was announced, I order a Hudson Bay knife. It came tonight. I’d take one of those Beckerized too.

Not as long as the King, wider though.

I really love my condor hudson. It's my go to kitchen knife. I use it for everything in the kitchen and out in the field as well. Sadly, that condor is the only reason I've yet to get a BK9....yet.

Thanks for sharing, traketawlker. My first impression is that it’s a very solid knife. A great bargain! It’s no King though. Hint, hint. ;)

it's not really a Nessmuk, it's a skinner... the rhino or something? i don't think they make it anymore. too close to the many other knives i had, so i traded it out. might have been a mistake? perhaps not :D

The only mistake would be dwelling on your mistake.... I do a lot of dwelling:(

I’ve seen the second one. Their take on a Kephart. Pretty much got everything wrong on that. That ‘muk isn’t much better. Pretty sure the original had a continuous curve or belly on the knife for skinning. And those handles...my baby soft hands hurt just looking at them. Hard pass on them both.

well, as it turns out i got a JG5 "nessmuk"... i like it. thin, slicey, and the handle actuall is comfortable - very smooth pebble feeling, no sharp edges.

it did come with a nick, like two blades kissed at 90 degrees. few minutes with a carbide to touch it up, back to shaving sharp and no "micro serration" ;)

i love the finish. SMOOOOOOOOOTH. very slicey. they put some effort into doing that. no grind marks.
