Bk10s Available!

Ok so I ordered my bk10 well over an hour before the back order was posted on tomars yet I have 't received shipping like others here so I emailed and the response I got was that the knives are available but they are still waiting on sheaths With no idea when they will be a available.....So my question is what the heck is going on? If the postings are correct and people have gotten their shipping info then why am I getting what feels like a run around from tomars? Any help/ advice would be greatly appreciated guys
 
Not sure Wild. It wouldn't be like him to give people the run-around. It's possible that he got what he could from Ka-Bar and they are still waiting on the sheaths. I know they were having trouble getting them through customs, and I'd imagine that Tomars has to wait for the next batch to come through, just like any other dealer.

I'm thinking that Azwelke is pretty thrilled with this re-release. Lots of BK10 sheaths will be ordered shortly. :)
 
I dont think its Tomars giving you the run around. The same thing happened with the BK4 and the BK24 when they finally got some Ka-Bar was shipping in limited quantities to the different dealers and it was a while before the supply was steady.
 
I'm sure they aren't giving me a raw deal but it just strikes me as odd that others that got in before the back order are getting theirs but alas all I can do is wait some more.....sucks that I got over $110 spent and still have to wait for an undisclosed amount of time......
 
Oh I didnt realize you had paid. I would give them a call. I have always been pleased with their service. The phone number is on their website.
 
I thought also when I put my order in there was no back order at that time, No big deal. FYI: my invoice said expected shipping date of 5/18
 
Well I have my receipt of payment so I'll wait a week or so and follow up again to see if they have an update on shipping for me.....I hope it's sooner rather then later as right now it feels a lot like waking up Christmas morning with a note from Santa saying see you next week....maybe! Lol anyways to those of you who get yours this week I look forward to some post's/pics of the new blade.
 
Mine passed through Salem, Mass. this morning and should arrive tomorrow. Though, USPS also said I'd have my Moras from 42blades here today.

And that dang river store hasn't even shipped my F/U and MK1 even though I put in the order two days ago. They're usually really good about that.
 
one hopes i get a couple :)

i should probably cancel my order of the first 250 :D
 
Mine left Denver, CO early this morning. Might show up today but I bet it'll take another day to get here.
 
I got in on that 'backorder' too... :( I don't understand how there are people who ordered AFTER I did that got it shipped already.

I'm assuming I probably won't have it in time for a camping trip next weekend. Bummer.

I ordered mine 3 mins after this thread went up. When did you order yours? Im not sure if they ship them in order or not.
