Drop point fan here myself, and I had the same reaction with the 17, which was what gave me the idea to do this in the first place.Wow, I've never a clip fan till I stared at a 17,, but this looks like perfection, id love to have a bk2 just to do this!
Just got another one, haha.Warrior, so you get another one. Things work out. You could just eat raman noodles for a week or 2 and bingo it's at your doorstep. lol
Clay
I didn't do the swedge, I just ground the curve in it to clip it. Plus I did the stripes, and sheath. I don't have the equipment to do a full on clip.how much to do mine?
How much lighter is the BK2 with that clip point modification?
Awesome pictures mate. Excellent job. If I didn't baton so much wood with my BK2 i'd seriously think about clipping it.
The last comment was in 2014 but it's gotta be said, WOW What a work of art. She's absolutely beautiful. When I work out how to download these pics(I hope that's allowed) I have to find someone here in Oz that can do the work. Absolutely bloody beautiful. I'm quite fond of the Becker Bk2, I have 3 of them and a Camillus crewman but your mod just improves an already awesome knife. Beautiful!
Wow; like other before me have said, while I am not necessarily a big clip point fan - I would get one of these in New York Minute if KaBar offered it.
Can I be the first to name this knife the BK217??
