Drop point fan here myself, and I had the same reaction with the 17, which was what gave me the idea to do this in the first place.

Warrior, so you get another one. Things work out. You could just eat raman noodles for a week or 2 and bingo it's at your doorstep. lol

Just got another one, haha. ;)

how much to do mine?
I didn't do the swedge, I just ground the curve in it to clip it. Plus I did the stripes, and sheath. I don't have the equipment to do a full on clip.

So the Warrior from Forum inspired me to turn my Becker BK-2 from a drop point to a clip point.
I stippled the handle scales,Father cut the clip point, and I polished the heck out of it.Here is the finished work.
I call it the Becker BK-2-B

Thanks Siant loke for the complements.Again Warrior inspired me.As far as the weight I haven't weighed mine either but It feels good and balanced.

Awesome pictures mate. Excellent job. If I didn't baton so much wood with my BK2 i'd seriously think about clipping it.

To be honest, it was more about the cool factor. I like drop points myself. I've never used this, and bought another BK2.

I was jus showing my mate your BK2 and said I'd probably buy another BK2 jus to clip it :p he's absolutely drooling over it haha might make a beckerhead out of him yet, he does love the BK7 and Christmas is around the corner...;)

You've definitely got one of the coolest BK2s out there!

The last comment was in 2014 but it's gotta be said, WOW What a work of art. She's absolutely beautiful. When I work out how to download these pics(I hope that's allowed) I have to find someone here in Oz that can do the work. Absolutely bloody beautiful. I'm quite fond of the Becker Bk2, I have 3 of them and a Camillus crewman but your mod just improves an already awesome knife. Beautiful!

A blast from the past, haha. Thanks man, appreciate it.

There are a few knife makers in the land of Oz. I'm sure you'd be able to find someone. Truth be told though it's not that hard to do that kinda thing yourself. Just keep the blade cool while working it.

Wow; like other before me have said, while I am not necessarily a big clip point fan - I would get one of these in New York Minute if KaBar offered it.

Can I be the first to name this knife the BK217??

Nah, I like Nvens89 better, aka BK2WE. Warrior Edition, that is. ;)
