It's all on there, just folded up so small, and camouflaged, it's hard to tell. :D Thanks.

Thanks. It was a fun mod to do. Still thinking of modding my 9, but damn I like that thing just the way it is. Perhaps I'll get another to mod.

Man Warrior that is an awesome set up you did. I love DIY stuff. It is super fun to do and very rewarding.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks man, appreciated. This thread is like a year and a half old, haha.

I really would like to know more about your little fire rod mod. Where did you get your cable clamps, your fire rod, and the little stretchy string to secure it?

Got the cable clamps from the local hardware store, the firesteel from the local farm and home, and I think I got the shock cord from supply captain, iirc.

BTW, welcome to the forum.

Thank you, Now does it matter how big or small the clamps are? Are do you need to get the right size?

I don't remember what size they were, tbh. They do make a few different sizes though.

They were half inch if memory serves. Pretty sure we had a conversation or three about that.

I didn't think they were that big? I was thinking they were 3/8, and my firesteel was a 1/4. Perhaps I'm wrong. D, I thought you and I talked about me getting a 1/2", and placing the nylon bushing in it, since I was having problems with mine fitting right, if my memory is serving me correctly.

Awesome setup!
Yep, pretty sure you used 3/8" clamps.
I only know because I stole .......um borrowed your idea.:D

I think there was a saying about imitation being some sort of flattery, or something.;)

Many have used the clamp idea. It works well, and is easy to do.

Easy to do to some regard. Some areas you showed are intimidating to me and this is coming from somebody who does a lot of metalwork for fun.

I was saying the firesteel clamp mod was easy to do.

Here some factory Bk2 sheaths I just added leather and a fire steel holder.
